Admissions Process
-
All students must complete an application through our online system. The application requirements include answering a short essay question, submission of an up to date CV as well as the contact information for one professional reference.
-
All applications are carefully reviewed by our admissions committee. Each application is reviewed holistically and qualified students who have demonstrated a genuine interest in the programme as well as a strong professional background will be considered for admission to the programme.
-
Students must be over the age of 18 by the first day of the programme. We advise applicants to have a minimum of 5 years professional experience prior to applying.
-
All applicants will be notified via email within one to two weeks after applying.
-
All accepted students must complete an Enrolment Form and submit a nonrefundable deposit to guarantee their space in the programme. Students will be sent an acceptance email which will contain a link to complete the form. At the end of the form, the system will prompt you to submit the deposit.
-
No, once an application has been submitted, you are not allowed to change it. Please contact the admissions office at admissions@cityfootball-leadership.com if you have any questions.
International Applicants
-
Whether or not you need a visa to enrol on the Executive Accelerator programme depends on your nationality.
Non-visa nationals (people who can come to the UK for up to 6 months without applying for a standard visitor visa first) do not need to apply for this visa before entering the UK. You can request to enter the UK as a Short-term Student at the UK border.
Visa nationals (people who must always apply for a standard visitor visa before travelling to the UK) must apply for a Standard Visitor visa before entering the UK. The Admissions Office will provide you with a support letter for your visa application once you have paid your fees in full.
You can check if you need to apply for your visa by visiting www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa
-
While we do not require test scores, all international applicants should have an adequate understanding of verbal and written English language.
Tuition, Financial Aid & Billing
-
All deposit and tuition payments will be handled through our approved 3rd party payment provider Flywire. Flywire enables you to make payments easily and securely in your own currency using a variety of local payment methods including online banking, bank transfers, cards, and e-wallets. The available payment methods depend on the country you are paying from. Further information will be provided when your deposit and tuition payments are due.
-
Final payment in full is due no later than 2 weeks prior to start of programme. Students who have deposited but have not fully paid their balance by the invoice due date will not be able to participate in Executive Accelerator.
-
Deposits for Executive Accelerator are non-refundable. To withdraw from the programme for any reason prior to the start of the term, the student must notify the Admissions Office in writing via email and depending on the date of withdrawal, a portion of the tuition and fees previously paid may be refunded. No refunds will be given for early departures from a programme, once it is underway, whether voluntary or otherwise.
For such cancellations received by the Institute 28 days or more before the full fee due date, 100% of the Programme fees paid will be refunded, but less the non-refundable deposit.
For such cancellations received by the Institute less than 28 days before the full fee due date, no refund will be made.
*Deposit not eligible for refund.
-
Unfortunately, financial aid is not available for the Executive Accelerator programme. However, there is not an option for a sponsor to pay for part or all of the fee for the programme. If you have confirmed sponsorship, you may add them in your application. If accepted, your sponsor will be contacted to provide payment.
-
Students are required to source and pay for their accommodation for the duration of the programme. The admissions team will supply the classroom locations in both London & Manchester so students can book accommodation accordingly.
