Kevin Bishop

Journalism & Sports Lecturer

Kevin Bishop is a broadcast news producer and journalism lecturer with over 30 years experience. He spent 23 years as a senior producer and bureau chief with BBC News, running news teams at the FIFA World Cup from 1998 to 2014. In the lead up to London 2012, he was series producer for the multi-media project World Olympic Dreams. He’s produced interviews with Vladimir Putin, Prince Charles and David Beckham among others.

Kevin teaches journalism at Falmouth University and sports journalism at Marjon University. He has recently been appointed a director of Mousehole AFC where he has produced a series of mini documentaries about the club. He’s a keen fan of QPR football club and the England cricket team.
