Next Gen Programme Returns for 2024
City Football Leadership Institute are thrilled to announce that our Next Gen summer programme is returning in 2024 and applications are now open!
We are excited to share that we will not only be returning to Manchester, but also bringing this unique summer programme to New York City for the first time.
Next Gen’s mission is to provide a transformative educational experience for future sports leaders. We connect 14-17 year olds with the global sports industry, giving them their first experience of what a career in this exciting world would look and feel like.
Next Gen takes students inside the world of City Football Group, Manchester City and New York City FC, and offers a hands-on immersion into the business of sport.
Students will experience:
- Immersive Learning: Experience the sports industry first-hand, with interactive workshops and unique behind the scenes access.
- Industry Experts: Meet a wide range of innovative experts, covering a series of industry topics.
- Career Development: Understand opportunities within the sports industry and start developing your network.
- Leadership Skills: Develop a skill-set that can be applied both in sport and business.
Students will also enjoy various group activities outside of the classroom making this truly an experience of a lifetime, including iconic sports arena tours and football coaching.
