Sport has a symbiotic relationship with the media.

The characters, stories and events of every sport provide a narrative as thrilling and dramatic as any TV soap opera. But how are the stories told? In this online masterclass, participants will delve into match reporting and the diverse landscape of sports storytelling, exploring how narratives unfold across various media platforms.

Participants will investigate the skills and techniques storytellers use on different platforms, including films, documentaries, radio, blogs, and podcasts. Through a combination of case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will understand the critical elements that go into telling a story through each of these mediums and what the future might bring in the industry.
